Bursztynowe Piaski

Gdańsk has more than 1000-year-old history and for centuries has been the window on the world for Poland. It has always been a proud, independent and rich city - the real capital city of Pomerania. In this city, schools and universities, churches, theaters, fortresses were built. The city also attracted different groups of artists, writers, scientists, giving them inspiration, muse and the energy for creation. Great architecture, coastal climate, hard work of fishermen and seafarers, the power of autumn storms - many elements intertwined here in the local tradition and provided its inhabitants with strength, pride and nostalgic attitude towards life and freedom. In Gdańsk Daniel Fahrenheit, Johannes Hevelius, Guenter Grass, Lech Walesa were born. The modern history of the old Hanseatic city is combined here with a nanotechnology center and technology parks as well as the IT center.
